What we collect

When you join the pilot list: your email address and, if you choose to give them, your household type and the name of your main bank. When you join the bookkeeper research list: your email address. We do not ask for bank logins, account numbers or any financial records on this website.

Why we collect it

To invite households to the private pilot, to contact people on the research list about the research, and to reply to you. We do not use it for advertising, and we do not sell it or give it to anyone else to market to you.

Where it is kept

Your details are stored with Amazon Web Services in Sydney, Australia, which hosts the website for us. Only the Gumnut team can see them.

How long we keep it

Until the pilot ends or you ask us to remove it, whichever is first. [retention period after the pilot].

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete your details at any time by emailing [privacy email]. If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, contact us first; you can also complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).

Bank data
